When you find the house you're supposed to live in, you won't lose it. DH & I always kick ourselves for not bidding on this one house a few years ago, and recently we went back to look at it, and the entire yard (which was beautifully landscaped) was dug up. I guess they had some serious issues with the cesspool. We also noticed high power lines right above the house that we hadn't noticed years prior when we fell inlove with the house. So, there's a reason you didn't get it! Believe in Fate and keep treckin'! Good luck with your continued search.

Don't worry Shana you will find something a lot better down the road. Even if you have to rent at first, it will give you time to put yourselves in a better situation.

our RE agent is doing some research for us and I found one complex that would welcom our 80 lb Rottweiler for a hefty fee that is half refundable. $900 for a 2 bdrm apt w/ DR and LR and Ofc......Hmmm....

That's not a bad price. At least compared to up here. That wouldn't get you a 1 bdrm in Westchester!

I saw your other post. 1250 or so sq/ft? Thats a large apartment.

Yes....the two complexes I am looking into are anywhere between 1187-1296 for a 2 bdrm for anywhere from $789-$905 and apt complexes are very competitive, so I was told you can negotiate the rent!
