IT'S SHAMMA'S TURN TO ANNOUNCE..........

I found out on Wednesday, Feb 25th that I am pregnant, I was just feeling so sleepy and nauseous, and my boobs have been so sore for the last 2 weeks, but this just felt like PMS, so why bother test.

My prayer partner called me to pray and she must have rang the phone for what must have seemed like forever, she was like, girl what is wrong with you? b/c usually I am the one to wake her up, so I said to her, I don't know, I am just so sleepy and tired the last couple of days, she was like you sure you not pregnant? I was like, no I am not, my period is coming, so I told her my 'PMS' symptoms and she said that sounds like pregnancy to me

Anyway I had one test in my draw so I picked it up and went to the bathroom let me tell you in less than a minute there were 2 lines and they were bright, I could not believe my eyes.

I called my 2nd prayer partner and I was crying my eyes out. This was me, where are we going to put it, what about our lives, can we undo this how am I going to volunteer Then she calmed me down and said, this is what you and Roger wanted, this is a blessing, ladies let me tell you, all of a sudden this peace and joy, when I say joy unpseakable came over me. The only sad part was that Roger was out of the country and I had to wait to tell him.

I just picked him up form the airport and I was able to tell him, the pix are below. I told my mother on Friday at lunch the pix are below. I am just so happy about this blessing that has come in to our lives. God is indeed good. Thanks for letting me share.

She said, what does this mean?? I said you only have one child what could it possibly mean, she kept saying I am too young to be a g-ma, are you sure


I guess it finally sunk in




She has already informed me she knows where the Carters outlet is her days of shopping for me are over

Then you must have known how hard it was for me to keep this from Roger, he called everyday and every day he asked how I was feeling etc. Well I just picked him up from Kennedy and I told him to just drop his bags and I went to get the camera, I told him I have a surprise for him

I am going to make myself some breakfast and get ready for church but I could not hold it from yall another day.

I must have taken over 5 test I could not believe it

I am 5 weeks and 1 day pregnant, yup very early.

The dr. will be calling me with the levels tomorrow. I have a sonogram schedule for March 18th

Sorry it is so long, but I have been holding all this in for so long.

Yes it TRULY IS a blessing from God,and every new parent goes through 'Yikes what do I do with this baby, am I capable?'
But let me tell you, you will acquire skills and talents, and be overcome with emotions, all that you have NEVER experience in your entire life........
