I am a relatively health eater and have been for a while- my problem is snacking. I want to lose 20 pounds before my wedding so I jouned WW a month ago. It's going well and I have definitlely lost weight but it's such a slow process. I have very realistic goals (1 pound per week) and I am pretty on target- but it is so frustrating when people come in after their 1st week and lose over 5 pounds!!! I know that they probably ate horribly before but it's so frustrating! If I ate crap every day and then started WW, I'd lose a ton immediatly too! But since all I did was cut out the snacking, it is slower and harder! I know it takes time and I am patient, it's just sad for me when new people come in a lose so much right away!
Does anyone else feel like that?

it's the story of my life!!!!! It is frustrating. Perhaps these people have more weight to lose than you do???? And congrats on keeping your goal of 1 pound per week!

Let me tell you I feel the same thing every week! When new people join they always loose alot the first week, I did just not 5 lbs of course, but still. It is frustrating weighing in with my FH too, he always looses so much more than me. I am also shooting for a lb a week, every week I tell myself if I do that I am happy I can't be concerned with everyone else. Everyday we make food choices and to loose weight we just have to keep on eating healthy. I am sure you will get to your goal, just picture yourself in your dress! Good Luck :)

I agree that they must have more weight to lose then you. One pound a week is right on target.

Yes!
I've been losing about .5 to 1 lb a week for a long time but I am so happy I'm doing it that way! It is going down steadily and it never went up!
Some people who lose that much are losing water. Don't feel like you're missing out on anything.
Also, sometimes medication (ie BCPs) will make things so slower...
Keep up the good work! Iris

You are more likely to keep it off if you lose it more slowly! Appreciate that you are at least losing! Good for you!
