I think the luggage tags are a cute idea, not necessarily for a destination wedding.

how about luggage tags with a note saying something like thank you for spending the day with us and traveling from so far away...hope to see you soon .... fly back to NY to visit us.....use these luggage tags..... (we have a lot of OOT)
