It's started...

My invites have been out all of one day and my friend (whom has no bf) calls and leaves a message saying how gorgeoues they are and is wondering about her bringing a date since it was not on the invite
Her sister whom I am very close with as well si married so obv. she ws invited with hiom and there are 3 other sisters who I did not invite with dates since they have no bfs. I have to call her back today I hate this type of stuff our list is too high and we are paying for it, I have no chooice btu to say no unless we have trouble meeting our minimum.

Yeah I had one of FH friends RSVP with a date when he wasn't invited with one. When we asked if he was seeing someone he said no, FH said oh I didn't think you were dating anyone that is why we didn't invite you with a guest. Who were you planning on taking to the wedding?

I don't know is not a good answer at $125 pp with 290 people invtied of course we didn't tell him that.

Long story short he is no longer taking a date.

Yeah, just say I'm sorry...but The only people invited with a date are people whom have Signifcant others, engaged or married....Just say if anything changes before then, let me know and I will see what we can do.

Some people just don't get it! If the invitation says:

Ms. So & So and Guest, then you can bring a guest! If not, common sense would say to any logical person, NO! LOL

oh mannn!! that *****! i'm planning on inviting people without significant WITHOUT dates too! so i guess i am in for some MORE stress?!?!?

those are the worst! I invited a couple and when I got their RSVP back, they put a total of 4 guests??? Apparently, they were going to bring friends?! Seriously, who even thinks to do this?? So I had to call & handle business

Most of my single guests were pretty good but I let them all know beforehand that both money & space were an issue, so it was okay.

I told my gf that unfortunately we have too many ppl alreayd and only invited peeps with dates if they have serious relationship/engages/married and she said 'um. ok:' But if we get a lot of no's I will let her no and she can bring one, and told her to keep her calendar open for my bacheloerette party and was told...
'she should give more notice I ahvea dinne rparty which is liek a 100 a plate I said yes to and can am allowed to bring a date there.'

OUCH?????
