So i just felt the need to post about how excited i am for this weekend. I get to go home to ny to see everyone that i've missed like crazy for months, i get to have my engagement parties (i've been engaged since july but haven't really had the chance to celebrate with fam/friends), and i finally get to go look at all the RH's i've been hearing all about! Granted, i'll probably pass out from exhaustion by the time i'm home b/c of all the running around, but it'll so be worth it. I'm sooooooo excited!!! Yay me

I think the more accurate question would be, what RH's are we NOT going to see? We've got a pretty full line up, there's CLM, East Wind, CHCC, Swan Club, Windows on the Lake, Watermill and maybe Mill Pond CC. I know, it's a lot, i swear i'm not crazy, i just have such limited time to actually be in ny so i want to see as much as possible while we're there (plus i'm slightly paranoid that so many 2010 chicees on this site already have venues booked, i want mine too!). Don't quite think FH knows exactly how many we're seeing...that'll just be his 'fun' surprise once we're home

Oh lord, don't even get me started on football...particularly when FH and my dad are in the same room. Fortunately (notsomuch for him), much of the RH hunting is taking place on sunday, so for this week at least, i win!

Have lots of fun!!! RH shopping was the most fun for the 2 of us... we're now at Windows on the Lake... we both fell in love. Just go with what you like... most cases you know once you walk in ... just like FH and I did. Good luck!

I was at East Wind last night for their bridal showcase and the food was really, really good. If you have time, you should also check out Giorgio's. I know I am a bit biased b/c I booked there, but it's really beautiful and I have heard a ton of great things about it. FM me if you want more info

haha same here.. anything I need to do without him, I do on Sundays bc I cant get him away from a tv

That one's actually on my list too (i have a GINORMOUS RH list), i just don't know if i have time for any more places! The pics of Georgio's online looked great though, so if i can find a way to squeeze them in, we will (and if we go and like it, i'll def be FM'ing you for info). Thanks!

OMG - i did that too!! FH proposed while i was staying with him in Colorado this summer. And since we wanted a Christmas wedding (and waiting until NEXT year was not an option) i had to begin all of my planning right away!! Even though it kills me to be back home now away from him, it was fun to begin all that planning - finally going to see the hall, celebrating with family, etc. You're gonna have a good time being home with everybody again.
