Its war now - vent

...in my office haha. I posted my Dear ____ post yesterday about the receptionist and office manager talking shizzz about me on a daily basis. Because I work for my Mom she sometimes has me do things out of the office for her, so I'm sort of her secretary/personal assistant. This means I don't always come into the office, but I am still working for her.

This week hasn't been like that, so I came in Tuesday and yesterday as usual...those biddies are up there saying 'Wow she came in 2 days in a row, unbelievable' but of course, nothing to my face.

So today I came in and said to my co-worker 'WOW I'm here 3 DAYS IN A ROW, can you BELIEVE it??'

Apparently that set the receptionist right off and she says (when she thinks I cant hear) 'Yeah she'll say that to her, but she would never say that to my face'

BECAUSE YOU SAY EVERYTHING TO MY FACE, RIGHT???? I hate these ladies

b*tches!!! They are clearly jealous of your ability to be in and out of the office. I have a flexab;e job and am in and out of the office and some of th others say things to me too... F them!!

I wish they WOULD say it to me...that's the part that bugs me out. But they are stupid enough to keep talking in front of other people and since everyone else hates them they tell me what goes on lol

lol they are yentas, every1 has them at their job. just laugh it off. dont get stressed. u wont get anywhere arguing with them. u cant teach an old dog new tricks.. in this case, CLASS.

OMG what is their problem???? Why do they care so much about you?? They need something else in their life obvi so that they don't need to attack some poor girl on a daily basis.

She's not techincally anyone's boss but mine...we work in a suite where a bunch of different lawyers all have offices. The office manager is the secretary of the law firm that leases the suite and rents the offices to everyone else and my Mom does a lot of work for them so I sometimes have to associate with her. Then the receptionist is paid by them to pick up any extra calls they get.

So my Mom doesn't have any control over them, but she's been in this suite for almost 30 years and this is the respect that they give her employees. They used to b!tch about the woman who worked here before me too...they are just sad and miserable and need someone to take it out on.

Unfortunately this is even more of a reason to not say anything. In their eyes you are not a co-worker or employee... you are ur mom's daughter.

Its been ongoing for a while...my Mom is the kind of person who will just sit back and let things happen...the office manager is really rude to her sometimes too and she just takes it, which makes me even angrier.

I know that I can't get into it with these women for the sake of my Mom and peace in the office...but in my fantasy world I tear them a new one and they sit there crying coz they were caught in their own little web.
