I've already asked my MOH/BM, but I want to do something sweet for them
As you all know, my sister is my MOH and my best friend is my BM. I asked my sister in person, like five minutes after getting engaged and my best friend over the phone (we hadn't seen each other in awhile and I just needed to ask already!)
Well, my sister will be here next week and the three of us are going shopping for their dresses. Would it be strange if I did a 'Will you be...' kind of thing then? Or maybe do something like 'I'm so glad you're my...'
I want to do something edible, naturally.
Is it strange to do this after the fact?

no i think its cute! you can take them out after dress shopping as a thank you and maybe give them a little something then

yeah i def think its cute!!! everyone loves edible gifts
i would also go with 'im glad your my...' rather tahn 'will you be my...'

I'm doing something like this. I asked my MOH the day I got home from where FH proposed. his one SIL already knew she was a BM, as we had talked about it for years. I asked another friend to be a BM when FH proposed, as she was there... my SIL thought she was the MOH and was upset when she found out she was a BM.. but my brother is a GM, so I don't want to separate them. I still have to ask FH's other SIL, but we aren't that close, and I rarely see her.. alone.. to ask. my friend who was there when he proposed has since told me she can't be a BM, which I knew was coming and I'm REALLY ok with it, she jsut had a baby and lives in another state... so I asked my other friend who I ORIGINALLY wanted in the BP (but FH felt the bp was too big). I asked her saturday when we went to RK.
FH is upset I haven't asked his SIL yet.. so I decided I'm going to formally 'ask' everyone in march.. I'm going to do like a card or poem. and either mail them or hand deliver.
(my MOH and I have been growing apart, so now I'm nervous about re-asking her.. so I want to give us some time, see how we are come March)

no I think it is that is so cute!!! I wanted to do something like that for my BM's and MOHs at my e-party but i thought of it too late

i did the will you be my bridesmaid cards after the fact as well, we went to lunch and i gave them their tanks and cards they were all like in tears it was really cute
