I've been at work since 8:30am

And it's 2am and I'm just about to leave now.

My life sucks.

And...I have to drive to Philly tomorrow evening.

It really really sucks.

What do you do for a living?

I did it. I called in sick. I swore I wouldn't do it because 3 people stayed until 1am the other night and cme in the next day & I didn't want to look like a wuss.

But I ate crap last night and it's affecting me now. My eyes are bloodshot from looking at a computer from 3:30pm to 1am almost continually.

Scott I am a legal and corporate law librarian.
We are asked every few months to update charts that are presented to clients at meetings. The information is pretty much available on databases we use but it takes time to sift through the databases to find the information. We know where to find it, it just takes a bit of time.

i actually find it interesting to do it, partially because i like to find information (i know i'm a geek) but one person doing it, getting the request at 3pm and finishing it for a presentation today at 11am - it's amazing I didn't work all night long. I also had to create new charts similar to the other ones during the night - not a big deal because the information is readily available - but it delayed me in getting the big project done.

i'm overtired now. i just called in to say i wasn't coming into work. i'm going back to bed.
