Were you able to trace the source of the ID theft? That's really, really scary. I'm so glad that the bank worked with you--did you call the RH yet and explain the situation????

OMG barb, i don't know if you remember but last summer the same thing happened to me.They wiped out our savings. Luckily the bank was insured for the 10,000 but still it feels like someone physically hurt you ... So so sorry...things like that shouldn't happen to wonderful people like you<3

omg so sorry this happened to you!!!!!! thank goodness that your bank is working on everything, you should also file a police report...same thing happened to me a few years ago and they actually caught the guy.

So sorry to hear about this! Your bank didn't call you when all these transactions were going on??
Make sure you keep an eye out on your credit report now; you never know what else may come up.
You may even want to call your existing credit card companies and tell them so they can issue you new cards since the dumb asses got your SS#.....
