I've been ORDERED to go tanning, Need reccomendations for a place in or near Merrick!!
I am in my cousins wedding on May 28th in Florida. Being that I am a pale New Yorker, and everyone else is a tan Floridian, she has ordered me to get tan before the wedding so I don't look like Caspar in the pics. Any reccomendations for me?? Thanks!!

Tanning is bad for you-- go to one of the spray on places.

Do they work?? I have never tanned at a salon or used spray before. Does the spray stay on? The wedding is in Florida and I will be in a hot dress and probably sweat a lot, will sweat make it comeoff? Will I still get tan in the sun if I spray? Thanks!!

I embrace my paleness, so I don't really know, but my coworker went over the weekend & it looked natural on him, but he said it feels weird. I don't think it sweats off or stains your clothing.

Electric Sun in wantagh, wantagh Ave or Planet Beach on Merrick Rd in Wantagh.
Both salons have good tanning bed with nice results.
Going tanning is not going to hurt you...u will be alright.

ive started my taning regimen this past sunday at beach bum...so far, so good! ive been there 3xs...tanning is addicting....but i must be tan for my e party june 5th!!!!!!!!! lol

They have professional airbrush tanning that doesn't come off and in the long run you won't damage your skin. I just don't know where they do that...sorry I'm no help.

The spray tan is called Mystic tan. I've done it and as long as you follow the directions you get a great tan!! I think you can go to their website and they'll tell you a salon by you that has it.

Jaime, talk to Marlene about this tomorrow. She is the queens of tanning at all places..I think she has tried everything! Ask her tomorrow!

Um, just my opinion, but that's kind of rude to order you to do something bad for YOU just so HER pictures look 'good'

Oh, she jokingly ordered me, sorry, didn't mean for it to come across like that. I added the Caspar part. She in reality wouldn't care if I was green in her pics, but i really don't want to stick out like a sore thumb. I am REALYY pale!!
