I'm sorry to hear that. My apartment was broken into in the end of June. Fortunatley they only money (I didn't have much) & a metro card.

It was still really upsetting. I was so grossed out- everything was everywhere. We cleaned like crazy & replaced everything in the kitcehn & bathroom.

We are still doig laundry of things that I don't ned in the summer, but may have touched. It was very unsettling & distruptive.

I'm so sorry FH's parents were robbed a few weeks ago too. I don't understand why people do things like this.

I can't imagine what you are going through, but remember- the most important things are safe- you and your loved ones. Its terrible, but your FH is right. They only took 'things'. The most important part of your wedding is still there, your love and trust for one another.

I'm sorry girls, but I have to vent about this. My apartment was broken into last night and I was robbed!! I feel so violated. I can't believe that someone was going through my things and I'm so afraid to be there now.

The worst of it is, they took my wedding band and the earings I was going to wear on my wedding day. Ughh. My FH keeps saying that they're just things and it more important that nothing serious happened. But this is such a bummer! I do not need this right now. Why are people so mean?

Being Burglarized is no easy experience.. Did the police have your place dusted for prints??? If so that's another headache cleaning that up too.. I deal with this on a daily basis (I'm in law enforcement) so if you have any questions, please feel free to ask... good luck...

That's terrible! People can be so mean. I know its hard now but just think, they were probably desparate drug addicted people and its a good thing you didn't walk in on them!
