I've come to the conclusion that our wedding is cursed!!!

So I've been dealing with a salon in my home town for the past month. We've been emailing and leaving voicemails back and forth trying to get all the information together. She got me to email all of my girls, my FMIL and my mom about what styles they were thinking of getting.....so I did that and left her a voicemail with the info.

Well, today I get a call from her (voicemail) letting me know that her salon can't accomodate our wedding anymore becuase SHE doesn't work on Saturdays!! Ummmmm, I told you I was getting married on a Saturday when we started talking you dumb wad!!!! She also said in the voicemail that the two other stylists that were doing our hair don't work Saturdays either! ***!!!!! What is the matter with people!!!!!

So whatever......I got over that. I'll find someone else........

Well, today was also my make up trial with a new girl and she NEVER SHOWED UP! NO phone call .... nothing!!! I give up!!!!!

My FH and I swear that our wedding is totally cursed!!!!!!

Me too We can be the cursed brides togther. I'm on my 3rd catering hall and I started planning the wedding this past summer, someone called me yesterday to say they heard the place was closing I puked and them immediately called the hall. It was just an evil rumor

All I have to say is that all this bad luck must mean we are going to have a FABULOUS marriage

If not I may loose my mind

Awww, I'm sorry you guys are having these issues! Look at it this way--maybe you'll get all the problems out of the way before hand, and the wedding (and marriage!) will be nothing but smooth!

awwww....did you see the Sex & the City where Charlotte's whole second wedding has nothing but bad luck?? then they say...the worse the luck the better the marriage...just think of it that way...i have a perpetual black cloud over my head in life in general so i feel for ya!!!!!!!

That just means that you weren't meant to use those people! You will find someone fabulous. Never look it as a curse. Look at it as a blessing in disguise. Now you can find a salon and ask all these questions upfront!!! Good luck finding your new hair and make-up people!!!!

You poor thing Kristy - no one has had a more stressful planning - but you will come out on top with the most amazing wedding and most importantly, marriage!!!

And you know what would completely top that? If TLC would call you already and pick you for What Not to Wear!!!

Ladies don't feel so bad because FH and I have been cursed since he put the ring on my finger last yr. I'll take it though...My Makeup artist bailed on me and now I need to find someone who knows my face!!! I can give you a list of people and obsticals that FH and I have had but I don't think that they give you enough room on the post messages...LOL...

Everything will turn out great for all of us!!!

You guys are funny with the cursed brides thing.

Just look at it this way- now you get to find new hair and makeup people that will show up and do a better job than the last group. If I were you I would be relieved that girl didn't show up. Better the trial then the actual day.
