I've decided on my flowers
I had appointments with a few florists today. I was very pleased with one of them, but it was still a little more than I wanted to spend on flowers. I already have CPs, so I just need the personals.
The best thing that came out of the appointments was that I FINALLY made up my mind about what I want to do with the Bo-Ks.
MINE will have 3 dozen black magic and leonidas roses, wine calla lillies, and berries.
(FH will have a mini wine calla with berries as his bout)
MOH: 1 doz black magic and 1 doz leonidas roses, with berries
(Best man will have a leonidas rose and berries)
BMs: 1.5 doz black magic roses with berries.
(GMs will have a black magic rose and berries)
Please excuse the semi-dead flowers - none of the florists really had too many fall/winter colors in stock...their fridges were FULL of whites and pale pinks and tangerines for the summer season, and they were soooooo pretty.
Mine: (this calla is purple - they didn't have a wine colored calla around)
MOH will have these 2, BMs will just have the red:
I'm happy I made a decision, and the color combination really looks great in a full size bo-k. If I end up booking one of the vendors I met with today, I can get a sample in November. We'll see....![]()
