So, FH and I go to WCC to drop off favors, etc and the hotels (we held rooms at the Huntington Hilton and the Melville Marriott) to drop off the boxes for our guests. Well, while we are at the Hilton I ask the girl for a print out of all the rooms, just in case somebody added a room last minute, then I would leave an extra box. Well...I look at the sheet and see a name for someone who never RSVPed to the wedding. How do you like them apples???? My FH had tried to call him (disconnected #), email him, etc. Noone had heard ANYTHING from this guy so we all assumed he wasn't coming. Can you believe it? Well, back to the drawing board to make one more placecard (my poor mom) and make sure we take it on Saturday. Can you believe it??? UGH! But shockingly, I'm okay with this. Yippee...1 more day to go!!

Maybe it got lost in the mail???? It is weird though that the number was disconnected and there was no response to an e-mail....

HAH! You're right. We were going to change the table situtation but decided to leave it as is and add him. My FH said if everyone complains they can blame it on this guy. Hey, at least we can work through these things, right?

my mom called one of my guests that we haven't received an rsvp by and he had said that he sent it in like 2 weeks ago, so that got lost. Also I know 1 person never received my invitation and it never came back to me.
sometimes the mail just sucks, who knows what other important mail we never received.

Almost the same thing happened to me, My DH's aunt called him the night before, she came from out of town, with her daughter. Her daughter wasn't invited to the wedding, but we felt bad so told her to bring her anyway!

It is just wrong when people don't RSVP. But since you got the situation straightened out, at least its not something to worry about. Congratulations and enjoy!!

Yay for you that it is tomorrow. Sorry about the mix up though. I hope you post some pics b/c I will be in your shoes next year at the WCC and I cant wait!
