It is more like Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4 for me. It gives more time to wedding plan.

Actually I've been telling him we should get the Wii... cause it's something we can play together! Right now I'm upstairs on the computer and I can clearly hear every tackle and playcall from downstairs!!

he doesn't own Madden, but he has been BEGGING for Call of Duty 4 since before it came out. i refused to get it for him until after the wedding b/c he'd be no use to me, and may not show up to the wedding if he was on a good roll in game
well I explained to him that i'd buy it for him the day after the wedding and that he could play the whole weekend before we left for the HM... he was okay with that.
i just found out that FMIL got it for him for his bday which is friday... she knew our agreement. i'm not happy lol

I also have to add however, that I'm a video game junkie as well, but i don't enjoy the first person shooters that are basically 1 player. FH and I play games all the time TOGETHER or that are fun for the other to watch... i have no prob with that.

Yeah, see I have no problem playing along with him, if it's something I like... not football or games where the guys run around and shoot each other! That's why I want the Wii... I've heard it's so much fun... tennis, bowling, ping pong, etc. And it's exercise too!

FH and I just closed on a hosue last week, are paying for the wedding ourselves, and he feels the need to go out and buyt a Wii!!!!
I should go on a shopping spree just to make myself feel better.

same here... except i'm just as addicted...so we have to fight over the play station..lmao. I used to kick FH's butt in madden all the time along with his roomate ... guys hate losing to girls... but now that he lives here and our other system broke we have to fight over 1 and he always wins...between that, football and baseball i never see him..
