i've only been back at work for two weeks and already i'm sick!!!!!!!!

ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is one part of my job that I can't stand!! and i'm sure my fellow teachers out there can sympathize with me! i came home last night after being in the city all day and i wasn't feeling well. this morning i woke up with a sore throat and a runny/stuffy nose!!!!! i have two kids in my class that have had a cold all week and i caught it from them!!!! ugh i hate feeling like this. what over the counter medicine should i take?????

I give my full faith to Advil Cold and Sinus! It works GREAT! I feel your pain. I just don't understand how it's not even fall yet, and the kids have been SO sick already! I have become very good at washing my hands and sanitizing everything in the classroom since I became a teacher. I have to wipe down the hand instruments (I'm a music teacher), after every class because if not, every time I touch them or another kid touches them, the germs will spread like wildfires! Feel better!

Yup I know the feeling I got sick the second week of school. Had to take a sick day which I never do! Welcome back!

Lots of Vitamin C---that's what I take in large doses when I start feeling sick and it helps. Hope you feel better.
