I've waking up in the strangest way for the past few weeks!
Am I alone on this...have your cats done this?
Our cat is 9 years old.....all of a sudden he has decided to wake me up around 5:30am by kneading my pillow...I have long hair, so he ends up pulling my hair I wake up to my head bouncing, my cat purring in my ear, and my hair being pulled!
Of course he has been kneading his whole life, but never on my head!
Just thought I'd share this humerous experience!

Sometimes Tygra wants to hang out by the window near my head and walks on me and my hair. I love my kitty!!!

Xena will wake me up in the middle of the night because she knows I will pet her even if I am exhausted whereas DH will just push her off the bed. So if she is lonely she comes to me.

My cat always bites and pulls on my hair! I've started shutting the bedroom door because he howls so much during the night!

Olivia just gets right in my face and meows until I pet her. Then she has the nerve to walk away and I am awake for an hour !!!
So annoying and yet so cute.

Our cat Joe likes to wake us up too. He often starts between 3:30 and 5:00 hitting my Dh in the face and meowing. He never has pulled my hair but he has layed on my face a few times lately. The worst part being that he is huge and the one time the way I was laying and he was laying I couldn't get him off of me. My Dh keeps joking that he was trying to get rid of me. He's cute though so how can I be mad at him.

YES, Kathy....I don't sleep past 6am EVER...Chloe is on top of my head purring, licking and kneading...the worst is the licking though....YUCK....and I lose out on so much sleep. She also sometimes tries to bite my hair...oy that's not fun.
If we lock her out of the bedroom she just meows all morning...and I feel bad hearing her cry and see her paws underneath the door...she is alone all day I want her with us when we are there. It's tough...but weird your cat just started doing this.

My Talis does this while we watch tv or while I am exercising (on the floor)... He's nutty! He loves to chew on our hair.
