Ivory bridal gown/ champagne MOH any pics or thoughts?

I am not having bridesmaids and we found a champagne colored dress that looked great on my MOH.
I have 2 flowergirls and 2 ring bearers they will be in april spring colors: girls: 1 yellow, 1 pink
boys: 1 green, 1 blue

I couldn't decide on a color for my MOH- and the neutral in the store looked great on her and I thought would look nice in pictures. Adults in mature colors and the kids bring in fun spring color.

But I'm worried about how the MOH will look next to me in ivory. Does anyone have any pics or personal experience?

IMHO, I think the two colors are too similar.

Unless you do something different to her dress, such as adding a sash in a different color, or a shawl in a different color, it may look too much like a wedding dress.

I wore champagne to my friend's wedding and she wore and ivory gown with some champagne details and we looked amazing in person and in pics. It's a great color. Go for it!!!

i think it would be nice! or consider a latte- its a light brown-almost dark champagne!
i think ivory at a glance looks like white so next to champagne i think there will be a difference.
ohh u know what i was doing when i was picking colors- in the store find an ivory dress close to your shade ivory and put it next to the champagne dress.

good luck

i was in a friends wedding where she had a white gown, but it had ivory and champagne colored beading and flowers on it. she picked out a taupe colored dress, which i thought would be very blah on me since i am pale and not look good in pictures with the bride. it actually turned out to look much better on me and in pictures than i ever thought!!

I think it will work..something like this eve...

a champagne colored gown with an ivory accent to match you at the top of dress and down the back...LOVE IT!

Thanks! I started looking at gold... but of course the dress she looks great in doesn't come in gold. I could try it in taupe with a champagne sash- but would that look okay next to black tuxes? I wonder how much the ivory would stand out on the champagne??

I am wearing an ivory dress and considered having my MOH wear a champagne dress...i held it up to my dress at the bridal shop and i thought it was way too close in color for my liking.....that is JMO though ....i acutally ended up choosing a frappachino colored dress which is like a light brown....pics in my album...they are pretty

it might be too close if youre doing an ivory gown, maybe she can have a sash on hers in a darker color?

I was going to do a very pale pink but I feel that in pics the BMs might look like theyre wearing white so I'm going with a light pink but darker.....maybe you can go with a latte/taupe color for her?

Good Luck
