Ivory shirt/tie or White shirt/ivory tie...

If your husbands wore either combination, can you post their pics for me please...

FH is not crazy about having to wear an ivory shirt...I don't know why...but my dress is ivory and I do not want it to clash with his white shirt...

i think the guys and fh are doing the ivory shirt - i didn't even know that they did ivory until i went to the tux place last week! i think will go so much better than the white- if he wears white- it may look like your dress is dirty or something (in my opinion) in the pictures. i think the ivory is classy.

DH wore white shirt and ivory tie. I wore white dress.

But in this picture it all looks one shade...

In all honesty it depends on the color ivory - I have seen many ivory shirts that appear more yellow hued then a light ivory and I don't like the look of those

i spoke to someone in a tux shop about this b/c my dress is ivory. he said that a good ivory shirt will not look yellow or off-white in pics and will most likely look white. however, if you have an ivory dress, he highly recommended that the guys wear ivory shirts - otherwise the difference will be noticeable.

Sandy...that's how I feel...that if I'm wearing ivory than the guys have to be in ivory shirts or else we'll clash. And, I don't want that. I also agree that if they are good quality ivory shirts than they shouldn't be yellowish...
