Well, I have been in touch with J.Crew and so far they have been absolutely phenomenal about helping me with their BM dresses!
I am going to be using their 'Whitney' dress (see below) in either light blue or capri (the picture is neither of those colors). I haven't made up my mind yet which one though!
My BMs are psyched because it's not 'bridesmaid-ish' at all and they can wear it again! They all look awesome in it too! It's also the exact style I was going for and could NOT find at a bridal store!

Did you get a swatch? What type of material is it?
I wanted to go with the Sophia dress, but when I went to the store (which don't carry the actual dresses) I spoke with a manager, who was really helpful and warned me that the Satin is VERY THIN and shows EVERYTHING.

My friend recently did this as well. Not sure what the name of hers was, but the girls wore black. She even bought one for herself!!

It's the Whitney dress. The material is gorgeous (silk faille) and it's fully lined with a little bit of tulle underneath to give it shape. I did look at the Sophia dress too and it looked very thin.
They also have those adorable shoes to match!

They are $250. Not too bad considering that my girls aren't going to need alterations!
