because i just heard someone speculate that the reasonthey got married so fast was that she was probably pregnant. but it was only speculation.

makes a little more sense now , i suppose .. although EVERYTHING she does makes NO SENSE

Jen & Marc: Why the Rush to the Altar?

When news broke that JENNIFER LOPEZ wed singer MARC ANTHONY on Saturday, it was a surprise to everyone -- including the 40 friends and family members invited to the posh ceremony. Tonight on ET, we talk to US Weekly Editor-in-Chief JANICE MIN about how the superstars kept the wedding so secret and the possible reason they tied the knot so quickly!

'There have been rumors about a baby on the way,' she says. 'Jennifer has made no secret that she'd love to have children. She's 34 years old, she's very family oriented, she loves her nieces, family is important to her and we know that Marc Anthony loves children too.' She continues: 'Whether or not she's pregnant right now, nobody knows, probably not. But I would definitely expect a little baby on the way soon.'

Min reveals how the singer/actress/entrepreneur kept her big day under wraps, which she says was planned only a week or two in advance. 'This was a total surprise for the guests at Jennifer's house,' she says. 'Basically they were told that there was going to be a party in advance of the MTV Movie Awards. Even Jennifer's hair and makeup people and stylist were all told she was getting ready to go to the MTV Movie Awards to make a surprise appearance. Then when the guests arrived at the house, Jennifer was in a regular dress and came downstairs and told the guests they were actually at a wedding. There were cheers and applause and then she went back upstairs to change into a wedding gown.'

That gown was a VERA WANG, the same designer Lopez used for the nuptials-that-never-were to a certain Boston boy. 'We know that Vera Wang was the designer for her dress for her wedding to BEN AFFLECK and we know that dress was never seen,' she says. We don't know if it was the same dress, but we imagine it was a brand-new dress.'

Min believes that using the same designer helped keep the wedding private. 'The fact that she had stylists from another design house come over to help the dress be fitted, makes some people think the dress was bought off the rack without a lot of people's knowledge. She was so stealth about this. The fact that not one detail leaked about this, compared to her wedding to Ben Affleck, shows how important this was to her that this be kept secret.'

Min feels that the media hullabaloo that surrounded her and Affleck's engagement taught Lopez to stay quiet. 'I think the fact that the way Jennifer conducted the wedding in the way that she did means that she was trying to be undercover and very private. She's not releasing a wedding photo, she's not confirming that she even got married officially. She's learned a lot of valuable lessons from the Bennifer experience.'
