I was thinking of using Jack and Rose Florists and was wondering if anyone had pics of their work they could post...what are their price ranges? Any positive or negative experiences?

I plan on using them myself because I haven't heard one negative comment about their work. People have just raved over them. I can't wait to meet with them!

We are using Jack for our April wedding and couldn't be more excited! We booked him before even hearing about him on these boards....he was a recommended vendor from our hall. When we first met with him - I was a little taken aback because he has so much energy and I wasn't used to that from the florists I had previously seen, but after talking with him and hearing his ideas, we realized that he is a true artist and has a wonderfully creative mind! Then we saw his quote - which was amazingly low....and we booked with him! He is so much fun to work with! Definitely go to meet with him!!

That's not true. The negative posts were removed - either b/c they were considered 'bashing' or caused 'drama'.
I met with Jack and didn't care for the hard sell he was using with me nor was I impressed with his books of work. I thought they were very dated with lots of filler so I wonder if that helps in keeping his costs down. I was looking for someone with more creativity.

I absolutely LOVED jack, Loved him!!! I brought in pictures of what I wanted and he was VERY creative with us, spent along time with us making sure we got everything we needed, gave us the best price around and the day of totally surprised us with our seetheart table, I had forgoten to order anything and when he came and saw that, he made up the most beautiful arrangment and gave it to us as a gift! Without that, our table would have been BARE!!! He was amazing to work with from the get go and I am 200% thrilled that we used him!!

Here's my bo-k from J&R...it stayed fresh all day, even in 6 degree weather! I asked for the english ivy trail b/c I am english, and I thought my english cousisns would get a kick out of it. other than that the only green is the gardenia leaves.

I met him and thought his work was beautiful. All you need to be sure to tell him what you want. You can even specify how many roses you want in your centerpieces. You should defintely meet him and make up your own mind. Can't hurt to take a look. Good Luck!

I am now a Jack and Rose bride, and with every vendor you will hear good and bad things. Defenitly meet with Jack. I have to say I looked at 2 other florists the same day I met with Jack and they would not even give us five min. because we are not getting married till 2005, but Jack spent over and hour and a half going over things, and coming up with ideas.
