Jack & Rose brides

Question-If they had to do more than one event on one day they would right? Given they have 2 locations.
I am crossing my fingers here. I have to wait till 10 to speak to Jack.

Did you make an appointment yet to speak with him? I think he would have told you then if he is free.

I met with him already. We talked a couple of times on the phone and he left me a message before our 2nd conversation that he has a few people interested in my date... I think that is a sales ploy b/c when we spoke the 2nd time, he said he would hold my date for me.

Wanda, he told me the same exact thing. I was totally impressed with him except for that. If you are so good, don't use ploys to get customers. I'm going to meet with him on Thursday.

He told me that he can't guarentee holding dates after teh 5-days from meeting.

He did say centerpeices would only be 2 or $300 dollars more when I asked, incase I wanted to hold off on them and book BQ & church. that can't be, I think he just wanted me to do it all.

You can't blame a vendor,,they have to sell of else you might go to the next person. I think his passion for his job makes up for it

I don't know if thats a sales ploy or not, they have been in business like 54 yrs & he is always busy.

His work & prices are so good.

I already booked him for flowers for my MOH's baby shower for this August.

Hi Jenn! I get the impression she's always busy too. But, I just called to confirm meeting with him. He only has 6/29 available - and then not until 7/25!! I have to go to a christening on 6/29. I even said that I'm off on Fridays (and tomorrow as well). I don't know what to do. I can't miss the christening, but if I wait until the next available appt (7/25), someone may have already booked him.

Would they book an appointment with people who have the same date? Each location can do a wedding, it's not just 1 place

When I called I really didnt have much of a choice for dates and times either. They seem REALLY busy!!

When I called there just happened to be a cancelation for Sunday so I grabbed it.

Jenn, it's 11/02/03 (on a Sunday). He told me that several. He wrote this: 'Yes the date is available for you. We just gave a quote on last Tuesday, but it is not booked as yet. we show about 6 interests for your date, but no one else has contacted us as yet.' But, I spoke with him (after several emails) today, and that is what he told me 6/29 (the christening day) or 7/25!! i was flexible with tomorrow or any other friday as well. I don't know what to do now. I don't want to wait until 7/25, only to find out someone else booked him already and then I'm stuck having wasted a month that I co uld have looked at another florist. What to do

Jenny, he should know I'm interested too, because I wouldn't have mentioned LIW or Jenn or emailed him back and forth several times if I wasn't. As I said, I don't know if I should wait or just go with someone else.

I would wait till 7/25, he has 2 locations that do flowers.

Also, don't forget, there ARE alot of brides, not just only on LIW. And your date is only a few moths away!

Jenn, I definitely believe he's busy - if he's good, he better be busy But, I did offer flexibility (Fridays and tomorrow, even). He originally said that he would have the Bayside location do the ceremony flowers - and the Woodbury location could do the reception flowers.

I just spoke to him and he is extremely busy. Its insane!!!
Each location does one event per day. My fear was they only did one event per day and that was it. But he reassured me that since they have more than one location they can do one event, per day, per location. My next appt is guess when... 7/2 at 9:30 pm!! I am so impatient but I understand. Especially since it is busy season for them. I already warned FH it was going to be a LONG night! The first time I saw Jack, I was there for 2.5 hours!

I actually did tell him I most likely had a christening that day (I wasn't 100% certain of the date at the time of the phone call). So, I haven't called him back yet to tell him that 6/29 isn't good. As I said though, I don't want to wait until 7/25, only to be told (since he's busy) that the day is no longer available. Evenings are fine for me, but he said the ONLY appointments he had (exact words) were 6/29 and 7/25. He mentioned 7/25 after I said I was off on Fridays. On brother...
