Jack & Rose: Part 2

After hearing about the great sale going on at J&R last week, I went with another bride to check it out. I was so dissapointed. First of all, the place was packed. They didn't have enough salespeople for all the people in the shop. Secondly, the only person who handles weddings was Jack and he was booked with appointments until Monday of this week. Well, I told the girl at the counter we wanted to browse to get ideas, and when I told her to show me flowers in my budget, she looked at me like I was the first person who said the word "budget". I was so humiliated. She made me feel like a cheapo. Can you believe she showed me carnations?

If money is no option, I would think this is the place, because they had beautiful arrangements. On a personal note, I would rather give my money to a business who not only had the time for me, but had courteous sales help-just my opinion.

Thanks Rachel. They were the first place I looked into and honestly I have a year and a half, I just figured since they were having a sale it would be worth the trip. Too bad it wasn't.

Funny thing is our budget is very generous for flowers, and I was very surprised she didn't take me seriously. Like my fiance says...it's their loss!

Bria, and Janine thanks for your message. I am so excited. I booked Jack & Rose myself too. I went to 7 flower shops, and found one worse than the other! Jack & Rose worked with my budget. I don't know what other people are talking about. I found that they spent so much time trying to help me work it out. and they did! My price was only $970.00. But honestly I had gotten three prices there. one was $800. another was $970. and the other was $1200. I decided to take the middle plan at $970. I could upgrade or downgrade at any time without penalty. That made me feel so comfortable. I see what you mean Janine. Can't wait Bria.

my parents went to a wedding at Leonards a couple of months ago and said it was absolutely fabulous....Stacy

Thank You Ann Marie! Ladies, I did not post my experience on the board to stir up any problems amoung the brides who are using Jack & Rose. There is no reason to take it to heart. Everything I said was true. And yes, I would be dissapointed to hear that someone had a bad experience with one of my vendors too. But I wouldn't start attacking them. Both negative and positive comments are welcome here. I was simply responding to another post regarding the sale they had going on, and what happened when I went there. I think other brides have a right to know how I was treated. Carolyn, I did in fact go there during the week and it was still busy. My budget is very generous for the flowers, and even though they may have a lot of experience, I will take my money and business elsewhere. It's not the end of the world. I am happy you had a great expierence, and that you got a great deal. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same. As I prevoiusly posted...it's just MY opinion, and didn't want to hear that I am a vendor basher. Now I know why I never post anything anyway. Shame on you!
