Jacqueline Nicole? Also, Hair Vendor Recs?

I've been seeing a lot of brides using her for their make-up, and from the pictures I've seen, I love how her make-up looks on everyone. I still have awhile until I do make-up trials, but I just wanted to know from the people who used her if they were happy with her work. And also does she come to where you are, or do you have to go to her the day of the wedding?

Also, who do you recommend for hair?

I had my trial with Jacqueline Nicole, I loved it!! I would contact her to make sure your wedding date is available, she books up fast!!

Mine isn't until next year, November 12. Am I supposed to book the wedding day before I even go through with the trial?

Who is Jacqueline Nicole and where is she located? I am also looking for hair/make-up. How long in advance are you supposed to go? My date is 4/16/04.

She is a vendor on here. I suggest checking to see if she even has your date available, if it is not then you know you don't need to do a trial with her.

I used JN for my make-up as well. If you like her you should do a trial now and book for your date if you like the trial. She really books up fast. She is great

Well, I called up today, but she was at a client's. They said I can't book until the trial, and I shouldn't do the trial so early, but if I let her know what day I want, she can let me know if someone else wanting to get married the same day as me schedules a trial, so I can make an appointment before her. So I do not know yet if the day is taken now or not. I hope not.

Nora, is that a hair or makeup rec?

Violet, my wedding is October '04 and I thought I had PLENTY of time before I even started to think about make-up. Well, I was sorely mistaken. Thanks to the girls on this board, I called JN and have my make-up trial in November. She is SO sweet and said that she does book up very quickly and girls are now thinking like a year ahead for hair and make-up so if you're interested call her today! She does the bride's trial FREE at her place in Smithtown (I think) and then she comes to you on your wedding day.

Cool, thanks! Yeah, I'm waiting to hear back from her. I'm sure she's busy now through the weekend, but the guy said she would try to let me know quick if the day was booked.

I know, I read good things about Denise Venti and went to her website, but $150 for hair seemed a little expensive to me, or is that just me? I'd rather fork over more money for make-up than hair.

She does book quick, I went for my trial in June.

JN is doing my wedding in 15 more days ( me, my mom and 3 BM). My MOH and BM and me went for a trial and we loved her.

For hair I am having Jennifer from Fairytale Makeovers. Actually I am going Monday for my 2nd trial!! She is such a sweetie just like JN and she does great work. She keeps working with you till you absoutely love your hair. I highly recommend both of these girls.
