Jacqueline Nicole...make-up artist

I just had to tell you about Jacqueline Nicole...

As you may have read, I posted a thread about pre-wedding pimples...well she answered me by email...and did not try to sell anything to me or make her self look good. I believe she was honestly trying to help me.

I was so impressed I had to start this thread for those of you who may have not selected a make-up artist. (I already have one and I AM a real bride)

thanks for listening...here is the email...

Dear yabbobay,

I know it is getting down to the wire and you are beginning to stress a little. Please under any circumstance do not squeeze your pimples. Your make-up artist can remove the redness with concealer. If you squeeze, it will scab and anything they put over it will look scaley. In the meantime go to the clinique counter and get their On the spot pimple treatment. It comes in a triangle tube, it is the only pimple medicine they have and it is AWESOME!!!! I garuntee, in two days they will be practically non-existent. Try not to wear make-up and keep applying over it with the clinique. As for your lip, try bikini zone (you can get it at cvs, genovese etc:) It should help reduce the irritation. If you are super sensitive call a dermatologist and see what they would reccommend. They might just tell you to use cortisone or a heavy cream like Eucerin over your lip. I hope this helped you. Don't freak most brides are good for one or two stress pimples before there wedding. That is why you should be thankful for concealer. Smile-you are going to look gorgeous!!! Sincerely, Jacqueline Nicole make-up artist

Yabbobay,

Good tips! Thanks for posting. I'm heading to the Clinique counter right after work to get that cream.

How far in advance did you start doing make-up trials? I still have a year until the wedding, but I'm trying to hammer out all the details way ahead of time.

I used her for my June 1 wedding- she was absolutely amazing. Everyone commented on how beautiful may makeup was. She did my mom and all my bridesmaids and she was a joy to work with and everyone looked better than I have ever seen them. Use her!!!

I booked JN for my 11/2 wedding. She is very nice and my MOH and I loved out makeup trials. She is also very fairly priced. I am going to get that acne medicine- good to have on hand.

Jacqueline Nicole is very sincere, she has answered many of my posts too, not many people do this, and NO she does not try to sell herself to you. Lets hope this post can stay a positive one about her this time. It's unfair to trash her so much, i hope the last post was the end of it.

Re: Jacqueline Nicole...me too

I'm sure most of you must have read my thread regarding a GM telling me to F*&k off at my engagement party asking you for advice of what to do.

Well Jacqueline Nicole sent me a message with a very nice note. I thought I kept it, but I can't seem to find it, so I must have accidently erased it. I would have loved to share it with you. I was waiting for a 'by the way' and a plug for her service, but it never came. It was a very sweet thing for her to do.
