Awesome!! I can't wait since im really not starting to get the ball rolling till after the New Year. PLUS its the day after my birthday so i figured it would be a nice way to start off a new year!

it is free and you can bring up to 6 people with you

I went to a showcase there during the summer. I'm not booked there but I love the place. I didnt even know there was one next month. Thanks for posting. I will be there :)

I will not be attending. I loved Chateau Briand and the price was the best price but the woman who would have been my banquet manager was the worst. I liked chateau Briand had my mind made up and everything but she was just not helpful. Every question I asked her answer was ' once you come in and book we can talk about it'. I am not coming in a leaving a deposit if I am not sure I can make the changes that I want. Also in terms of flowers and decorating they were very limited. This woman never returned any of my calls of emails with questions but the night before I was supposed to go leave a deposit she called me 3 times and she was on vacation. That was a huge turn off to me so I ended up booking with the sandcastle.

No, it's completely possible that I go for the same reason as your FH.

Thats terrible that she treated you that way. I would never leave my money anywhere without having EVERY question answered. I really didnt think of booking there becasue it was a bit to big for what I was looking for but it is really pretty. Sandcastle is really nice also.

I think I mainly go for the food, wine and champagne

We will be going!! I love going to visit my venue whenever possible so that's a great opportunity.

I have a question though ladies..Is the guest number really 6 people and if so do the six guests exclude you or are you counted into that number?

I think that includes you b/c when I called to RVSP she said I can bring 5 people. I may be wrong though!

ill be attending :) you have to call to make reservations and you can bring up to 5 people with you (including you is 6 total)

see everyone there for those who are going! :)
