What??? I checked my work email before and I was cracking up because I HAD THE DAY OFF!!!

FH's godfather was 'Man of the Year' and his cousin received the 'Children's Legacy Award' at the Crohn's Foundation Spring Gala Friday night. So Friday I spent a ton of money getting all dolled up to go to the Garden City Hotel. Missed you guys!

Oh WHEW!!! I so thought you were mad or something....Missed you on Friday tons!!! And this weekend too!

Weekend was great. Friday was the gala/dinner, Saturday my living room set and my refridgerator came. I went to Bed Bath & Beyond shopping and then FH & I put the knobs on our kitchen cabinets.
Today sucked, I have realized in trying to make everyone happy on Mother's Day, no one was happy ...

aww sorry about the Mothers day! I kinda had one of those..Dannys MOM was MIA...we couldnt find her...my mom was just kinda depressed and cranky, so it was just one of those days! Cant wait to see more pics of teh apt! and the new couchs!

We brought the bedroom TV into the living room - all 19' of it and watched Master & Commander on our new couches Saturday night. It was soooo nice!

I don't think the mom's were as upset and I was ... I just felt really bad having to leave my mom and felt bad because his mom wasn't too happy with her mom ... and round and round we go ...

cool!!!!! I love new couches!

They are soooo squishy and great. What we realized was that we DID NOT buy apartment sized furniture! Our couch and love seat are HUGE ... and I don't mean just legth .. width wise they are HUGE! And the refidgerator is also big. I thought we measure right but when it came it fits exactly to my bathroom door - not to the molding, to the door ... andother millimeter and it would be in the doorway. When the deliveryman put it in, we both actually said 'Phew, that is close!' ... FH & I keep saying 'Well, it's a learning curve ...' LOL - we have big eyes but not enough living space for all this! Now we cannot have a coffee table and our kitchen table has to be smaller than we wanted.

Well next year, I'll work on making one happy on the Saturday and one happy on the Sunday ... I do that for every other holiday soooo I won't do this again. It was me that ended up feeling bad.

I know its hard...I know the furniture thing too! In our old ' tiny' apt we had a couch and a dresser and an entertainment center in a tiny room, we coudl barely move....

It is tough, but it looks so nice ... hopefully have pictures by tomorrow.
