jann...I'll join you...I used to do this when I was little (on my own - not sure if it was to relieve gas) and I'LL NEVER FORGET THIS:

My mother told me at 5-8 years old to not do that until I was married!!!!

I didn't understand why...but I remember those words like yesterday
