January/Winter brides

When booking your dates; did you not fear a snow storm or OOT guest not making it?

that seem to be the worry for Fh aunt.

Honestly when I booked for January I told myself 'it doesn't usually snow in January, It's to cold to snow in January.'

And so far the long term forecast is cooperating with us.

you can have bad weather no matter when you get married. its the one aspect of a wedding that can not be planned you hope for the best. Thank God most of these storms have been during the week.

it doesnt matter when you plan your wedding....weather is something you cant control. my friend planned hers in october and she had a monsoon like i have never seen. it caused car accidents and everyone to be late to the church. only 15 or so guests even made it to the church so snow isnt the worst thing!
yes it can delay oot guests but its a chance you take (we didnt have that many OOT'ers)
now a days, they clean up after a snow storm pretty fast and the RH's are preparded to deal with such happenings. go for it...its way cheaper!

ETA: snow is so beautiful...we prayed for some snow the day of our wedding, we got it a few days before and i loved seeing snow on the ground in my pics and video
