JANURARY 2005 WEDDING

My FH wants a winter wedding. I am in favor of this but the fear of a snow storm is driving me insane. I am in school so it has been difficult for us to come up with a date. We were thinking 06-05 but he wants 01-05. Any opinions?

If you are concerned with money, jan will be cheaper

I am getting married Jan 9 2005...I am actually hoping that it snows a little bit (No blizzards thank you) Early Jan weather is often cold but blizzards are more common in later winter months late jan-feb and march. Friends of mine got married dec 30 and the night before their wedding there was a blizzard. Althought it was a bit inconvenient, they have such beautiful wedding pictures in the park all covered in snow. Gorgeous. Plus side to snow is that when it does snow often times the temperatures tend to warm up a bit...meaning no teen temps.

Obviously both you and FH have to agree on the date but dont let the fear of bad weather rule yoru decision, you can get married in June and still get downpours. The weather is something you cant control. Another plus side to a jan wedding is that hall costs are definitely lower!

I like winter weddings! It gives you something to look forward to after the holidays and before the summer bbq blitz.

Don't fret about the weather. It will still be beautiful even if it is a little snow.

Ima january wedding too because Im a student and thats when Im out of school..no studies..after doing all of this planning..Im now very thrilled that my wedding is in January..its going to be beautiful..you can have lots of candles, cheaper and nicer halls than you may not regularly be able to afford..everything is good about it..Im hoping for alittle snow.. Congratulations on yoru enagagement!
