Jarred from Patken
I don't have any experience at all, the only thing I know though, so you may want to ask them about this, is that Patken employees have like 25 poses they need to take of you, at all weddings, so it all tends to look the same...I here that you don't get a say really in what kind of pictures you want...Which could be both a good or bad thing, good especially if you don't know what kind of pictures you want...Hope I helped you :)

I used Patken for my wedding and at least in my case this is absolutely not true. Yes they have their signature poses (pretty much every photographer does) but you do not have to do them if you do not want to. For me I did most of them because I loved them but there were some that I told Steve I was not interested in.

I used Patken as well and I agree with Mara. I did research online and printed photos I loved. My photographer Kevin busted his butt trying to do them all for us. There are several classic poses they do - which makes sense because they probably see that brides are using those most in albums and such. But you absolutely get a say in what photos you want.
What I loved were all the photos he took of the guys. Usually the groom and groomsmen kid of get forgotten, but I love how many pics there are of them.

I'm using Kevin from Patken as well! I requested him bc I met him at the JT Bridal Shwocase and just loved his personality! They seemed very cool and a lot of their poses are nice, except sitting on a floor-that will never happen! LOL The LadyJ I'm excited to use Kevin too can't wait!

Re: Jarred from Patken
Hi! I noticed that your wedding date has passed, but I wanted to post my review of Jarred for future brides to see. My husband and I were extremely pleased with Jarred. I had sent him a bunch of photos/poses that I collected on pinterest and he did every single one of them plus a bunch of the signature Patken poses that you'll find on their website. In addition to the typical 'getting ready' pictures at the hotel and traditional shots at our reception venue, he took us to Garden City Gazebo for some outdoor shots and took us for a few minutes after dinner to get some really cool outdoor night shots. He works really hard to make sure he does exactly what you want and even more. My wedding was just this past weekend so I have not seen the proofs yet. But if the engagement photos are any indication, I'm sure we'll be very pleased. Jarred is a pleasure to work with. SUPER nice and funny, and really patient with all the wedding chaos happening around us. Brides will be lucky to have him!!
