Girls, I would love to incorporate a jazz theme into the wedding somehow. We are having live jazz played att he ceremony and CT hr. John Coltrane is a fave jazz musician of ours and he has a CD called 'A Love Supreme' . I would love to use that title somewhere in the wedding. Also, we LOVE miles davis and his CD 'Kind of Blue' and I was thinking of doing blue as the color theme. IDEAS??????

You can def incorporate into your favors...burn a CD of all your favorite jazz songs. Try and find little instruments for place card holders, and/or incoropoate a measure of music onto menus, programs and invites.
Mrs. Naylor would be so proud!

very cool idea, I like the blue concept too.
You could incorporate your fav musicians or songs or albums in your table names.
you can use blue colored glass for votives, centerpiece vases.
i will think of more...

you could extend the idea to your attire, vintage, beading, etc. the mens attire - if they are wearing tuxes - white jackets would be so elegant.
candle lamp centerpieces for the bar or cocktail tables would give that jazz club vibe...
you could do tall candelabras, ostrich feathers in with floral arrangements,
