I always hated my name because honestly it was supposed to be Dawn Jennifer not Jennifer Dawn - my dad just messed up when he filled out the paper work and they figured not to bother changing it IoI

That's funny. As I said my mom only chose it because it was 'popular' at the time.

I am a jenn, but when I was in grade school it was Jen, and then in middle school when I got a name plate necklace I changed it to jenn because i thought 'jen' was too short. and jennifer is too long.

I hated being called Jenny when I was younger, and as I got older, only a few boyfriends called me it as an endearing term. Now, that is all my FH calls me and my family thinks it's adorable - he doesn't ever really call out my name when we are with them, but when he does it's jenny - and they think it's so cute :)
