Let's see. So far so good. I have to admit my brain is is sometimes a little foggy but it is improving on a daily basis (thank god because it could be a problem at work if it continues) I am down about pounds This is not a problem as of yet (since I am not a skinny minny) My one complaint is that I am having some short term memory issues. I called my doc and he said that should go away and that I should continue to monitor it (again will start to be a problem at work so I will have to watch it) Other than that no complaints. I had a few bad headaches the first few days I was on it but the intensity was nothing like normal and I haven't had one in a week. So I will keep you posted.

WOW...that's great news....I have an appt. with my doc. tomorrow to get the script!!!
I have a friend who was on it for weight loss (i know...don't ask) and her boyfriend would call those daily lapses her 'topa-stupid' episodes.....but he said they also went away....

I am hoping for some great results as well and will keep you updated too....let me know how you are doing soon.....

Hoping to be headache free in 2003!!!! (i know - big dork here!! )

You are not a Dork. I know how you feel.

the memory thing is a little scary. I usually have a really good memory (long and short term) I actually sat down with my boss and told her what was going on so she didn't think I was slacking. I work with lots of numbers and have taken longer than normal to do a lot of things lately.

Actually pretty well.....but they broke up (her boyfriend is how I knew her - he's my best friend since 4th grade) so I don't know the end result.....

Can't say i'm sorry that that's one of the 'side effects though' :)

How long have you been on and how many pounds down?
