Sorry to Crash your Board....but you girls are so into fashion I thought you might be able to help! I am in love with Jenna Bush' wedding dress by Oscar de la Renta...how do I get it? (and yes I know that it is extremely late for me to be getting a dress!) TIA

you're not late w/ your dress....some of us are still deciding....I think, I was a late one. I don't know where exactly you can find that dress...try Kleinfelds if not call Oscar de la Renta in NYC maybe they can help you locate it.

I googled some things and from what I read, it looks like OdlR made the dress for her. I'm sure you can get something similar but I am not sure you can get that dress. I agree though that you should call OdlR and ask anyway!
And yes - you have PLENTY of time! You are not late at ALL!

Oh gosh....you're so NOT late.
It was a custom made design....but I'm sure there are similar dresses in the de la Renta line. Saks would be a great place to start. Also, try the Manuel Mota Costura line at Pronovias (they similar styles).

Umm.. I just read a few articles that say that Oscar personally designed and made that dress for Jenna as a favor to her mother, so I dont think that it will be mass sold... you might probably get something similar in his collection though.
btw, you are not late.. you have plenty of time... Also try Kleinfelds, they may have something similar by Oscar that they can modify for you

Yes there is one from his collection that looks almost identical. I've seen it on his web site. It wont let me post the pics on here though.

i am so not the right person to be giving dress advice lol...but is there a place in the city or somewhere where u bring them a pic of a famous designers dress and they make a replica of it? i swear i saw it on rachal ray or something

I tried the same dress, but strapless. Try Mark Ingram in the city. (mark ingram bridal atelier)

Don't worry, you're not late at all. You should try calling Oscar De La Renta directly. I'm sure they'll know what dress she wore and where you can try the style on.
