I'm FINALLY doing better.

For some bizarre reason that my doctor couldn't figure out, my stitches weren't healing, and I was in AGONY! I've been on antibiotics for about a week, and I'm feeling MUCH better now.

Nicky is a little oinker and is eating 4.5 ounces every 4 hours. He sleeps well too, and is an absolute pleasure.

I am finding that the hardest part of mommy-hood is getting all teary at the drop of a hat. The other day Patrick found me crying and rocking Nicolas. The reason why I was crying was because I was thinking about dropping him off at college for the first time, and how much I'd miss him. Yes, I'm a big sappy freak!

I saw Damien's new pictures... He is GORGEOUS!!!

Jenn! I am so glad you posted that (about crying re: college!) b/c I thought I was the only one who had such sappy thoughts!
It's probably all the hormones, and a touch of the 'baby blues' but, it should pass.

I was the same way and still am. Last night when Steve came home from work, Damien heard him and turned to his voice and as soon as he saw Steve's face he started beaming. It was so sweet and I got teary. I keep telling Damien he can live with his Momma forever, so I'm turning him into one of those weird guys who lives with his Mother when he is fifty

Im just waiting (patiently) for your 'mommy time' and 'relatives visiting' time. Im sure every new mommy gets bombarded with visitors and can use some time to sleep or just relax...

John Anthony just got over pink eye and an ear infection last week (It was cleared up by Thanksgiving). BUt I want him to be TOTALLY in the clear before bringing him by a newborn. (We're just done with our 10 day dose of Amoxicillin).

CANT WAIT TO SEE YOU AND NICOLAS!!
