jennrenee - favor question

I know I read your post a while back that you did the pindar wine bottles as favors at Flowerfield. My question is, did you put them on the tables of the guests? I was concerned how it would look having all the wine bottles as favors on the table. Thanks so much!

Jenn Renee - me too, I have a question!

I checked out the website for Pinder and I looked at all the different kinds of wine they offer. I know that you paid $5 per bottle, my question is, was $5 the price for any of the wines or does that price vary depending on what kind you buy. Also, what kind of wine did you buy?

Thanks!

Me too....

This may sound stupid but you said that you got labels made...Where do the labels go on the bottle? was it something that went on the neck or the base? Will the recipient know what kind of wine was in the bottle...did the Pindar logo anywhere?

Cindy, one of my friends used wine bottles as favors. They wrapped each bottle in foil wrapping paper with a pretty bow and put them on the tables and it did not look bad at all. They even gave one to every guest not just one per couple.

favor question... answered! (I hope!)

Hi Girls... if I leave anything out, let me know! First, yes, the bottles were on the table. They were in pretty white celephane bags tied with ribbon, and they looked fine! I actually have a picture of the banquet room on my wedding day, and you can see the tables set up with the wine on them. Let me know if you'd like to see it.

As far as price, we paid just over $5 for each bottle. Patrick thinks it was $5.40, but that seems like such an unusual amount that I'm not sure if he's right. I do know that the more you buy, the cheaper they become. We used the Four Seasons Wine (Winter White, Spring Splendor, Summer Blush, and Autumn Gold), and don't know the prices for the others kinds, sorry!

Now the label question... the wine bottle was left exactly as you see it in the store, and our label went on the back, above the back label, on the base. Our guests knew the brand and flavor they got, because all of the original labels were left on. The label we added was one of our engagement pictures, and said our names and the date. We thought about putting 'Thank you for sharing our day', but decided it was too busy looking when we saw the sample.

IhopeIhit on everything, let me know if I didn't! : )

Thanks so much for sharing your information! I would love to see your picture of the tables since I am having my wedding at Flowerfield. Did you use all four seasons for the favor or just one season? I was think summer blush since my wedding is in the summer. Thanks again for sharing!

We originally planned to use all Summer Blush (my favorite)because we also had a summer wedding, but Patrick's favorite is Spring Splendor and he wanted to include that too, and then we felt it was wrong to have only 2 seasons, so we threw in the other 2. (Ridiculous logic, I know, but who makes sense when they are planning a wedding?!)
Here's my email address [email protected]. Email me and I'll send you the picture. : )
