Jenny Craig?

I was wondering if anyone here is doing Jenny Craig?

I am thinking about doing that plan and was wondering if someone wouldn't mind explaining how it works!

TIA!!!!

one of my friends does jenny, i will ask her about it. from what i know, you buy the food, and then you have to add in like fruit and salad. i will find out and let you know for sure.

Re: Jenny Craig?

okay so this is what i have found out from my friend who does jenny.
you go every week, meet with someone one on one, they talk about how things are going, what you can improve on, etc. you buy their food.breakfast lunch dinner and 2 snacks, and add in milk, fruit and veggies, you eat this until you reach your goal weight, and then you can start adding in real food, and eat 2 jennys meals and 1 real meal. How did your meeting go?

Re: Jenny Craig?

Thanks for asking! Our meeting went well, we have an awesome consultant.

Tonight was our first weigh-in, and I'm down 4.4 lbs!!!!!!

I've done WW twice before and I've NEVER lost more than 3 lbs in a week.

Re: Jenny Craig?

Congrats!

I lost 6.6 lbs in my first week on Jenny.
Lost a total of 15 for my wedding but have pretty much hit a plateau ever since....gained a few over the holidays but took them off so now back at being down 15. Getting a little frustrated I have to say...been on it for a while and just getting tired of the food. Thinking about switching to WW which I've done before. I just needed a quick fix for the wedding and I feel Jenny was able to do that for me. But you do tire of the food after a while that's why I sort of feel it's a very unrealistic diet. You want some real food from time to time.

But good luck - if you stick with it it really does work!!!

Thanks for the words of wisdom! That's exactly why I am doing Jenny now .... I need something that doesn't require any thinking, so I have no excuses.

WW is a great program, and I will probably go back to it eventually. Its something you can follow for life.

Just got back from my second WI, and am now down another pound ... for a total of 5.4 gone.

I'm on Jenny too, how are you doing on it? I've been stuck at 8 points, I haven't gained any weight but there have been about 4 different weeks where I haven't lost anything. i don't get it, I follow very strictly and work out 6 times a week. We will see what happens this week!

if you're working out 6x a week, you're probably replacing a lot of fat with muscle, and since muscle weighs more, you're not going to see much movement on the scale until you're a little farther into the routine. the good news is, you'll still slim down and get even healthier than with diet alone. =0)
