Thought it would be easier to catch you in a new post -- Did you ever look into buying silver julep cups or individual vases? I vaguely remember you saying something about them. I'm still trying to figure out my 'guests taking home the centerpiece: dilemma. I'm thinking of buying small vases and putting one per couple at the base of the centerpieces, filling them w/ green hydrangeas for the reception, and having the waiters hand pick the ivory roses out of the centerpieces at the end and sending each couple home with a vase and 'arrangement'. I haven't found too many affordable vases though! Any ideas?

just sort of jumping in here, my girlfriend bought bud vases at crate and barrel, i believe, and put little flowers in them, they were like a dollar each.

Thanks Gertyrae -- I'm looking for something about twice as big as the C&B vases. I do like them though!

I got my glassware for the candy bar/buffet from Kathy at Follow Your Heart. Maybe you can send her an FM or email and see if she can help you. She had a contact and was able to get me the glassware ranging from $6-12 a piece.
John doesn't have any ideas or contacts? I haven't made it to the Goddinger showroom yet to check out their silver. Hopefully I'll be able to get in there soon (I need to get frames for the table numbers). I'll see if Kevin can contact them to see if they even have julep cups and if they can work a deal out for us.

Ok, I'm nosy, so I clicked on the thread... Anyway, a friend of mine recently showed me this site Jamali Garden They sell floral supplies, and their prices are very reasonable. Not sure if they have what you're looking for, but it's worth a look. You could also try Save on crafts they usually have a good selection.
