You also never told me if there was saga with Bourne Mansion - did you wind up not seeing it afterall???

hmmm, actually there really no saga there AT the place but there was of course trauma getting there. I was keeping my trip to l.i. secret from my sis b/c, well, i have put her through enough and after the 35 other places i dragged her to, she has a nice fuzzy straight-jacket waiting for me. So, leave it to my FH to spill the beans on the phone with her that day when i was about to leave for my appointment. I was like 'PETER!!!!!' (i never call him Peter). He was like 'wooops, was that a secret? Anyway, so then my sister insisted that she come with me and pick up my cousin on the way. Hahahaha!

Anyway, we got lost. Alot. And it ended up being a fun adventure. As for the place, it is sooooo nice but the people are sooooooo even nicer! I wanted to book it just b/c Michael Lessing was so sweet! And Ben is so friendly and considerate and just very different than any other catering people i have dealt with. They actually treated us like people, not money bags. They were still too expensive b/c of that d*mn site fee!!!!! But believe it or not, I like the Carlyle better!
