Awww... that sux. But, if he's ok w/going out spending $. I wouldn't short change yourself. You deserve to go out and have a good time, as well. Let him worry about the $ for a while.

The problem is he will never worry about $$ b/c he has no idea how much everything is costing us. Not that he doesn't know, I just don't think he realizes how soon it is and how quick it's coming. He just gets me pissed b/c he doesn't think of it like that, he just thinks that all his friends from work are going out, so he wants to go. I'm sick of being the one to get upset. I shouldn't be crying over things for my wedding!! Anytime I think he has half a clue and realizes stuff like this, he just goes and does it again! This has been going on for the last few months...the same fight!

I have been having the same fight, too. But I live with FH, so when he goes to the fridge and the cabintes and they are empty...he knows why! He also has come to realize how big an issue I think this is and that it must be resolved BEFORE the wedding! You really need to talk to him seriously about this!! Tell him your concerns - I am sure he will respond!

I also live with my FH. Our cabinets are also empty! He just doesn't seem to get it! I hate having to always be the responsible one. It makes me always seems like the bad guy! I'm always the one saying we can't do this or we can't do that. Why doesn't he get it? How many times do I have to end up upset or crying before he realizes? Why can't they realize before it gets to that point??

He just called and said he changed plans and now they're all(his few friends)are coming to our house. At this point I don't care what he does, he already upset me, it doesn't matter now! The damage is done, he might as well go! All thi just makes me nervous about our marriage. I mean there is no question we love each other, but this is awful 6 weeks before we get married! Does it get better?(Please say yes!!)

Oh boy...take a deep breath! You sound so stressed! You seriously - after you calm down - have got to talk about it! Then - it will get better! Most men are just big babies and most of us women are just naturally more 'responsible'! But you've got to communicate!! I dont know how to make him see BEFORE you end up crying, but keep trying till you do!! That's what I have had to do and I think it's starting to sink in! Marriage won't magically change it - you have got to keep trying to work on this issue!!!

I know I sound like a broken record, but your communcation, especially in the area of finances will be key!

Plus, you've got to remember you are 6 weeks away and ultra stressed too!! Just think about how much you love him, remind him how much he loves you and calmly try to talk it out! After the guys go home, of course! And, I'm glad he did realize that you will both have to make some compromises.....I know you're hurt, but he did change his plans here - he realized eventually....
