Hi. Sorry it took me so long to respond. Well Jericho Terrace was amazing. First off the place is gorgeous! Michael Klaus is an absolute doll and kept checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed! :) Very nice of him.
The cocktail hour was AMAZING! Yum yum. I only took a few bites of my dinner! At dinner time, I ordered salmon and didn't like it (not the way they made it, I never had salmon before so I decided to give it a try). So I asked if I could get something else. They were so accomondating. I had chateau briand within 1 minute! They serve the food in front of you, so all the server had to do was go dish me out a new dish. But they were very nice. The bartender came around with a new drink of what you ordered without even being asked!
I don't know what else I can tell about the place. The food was delicious and service was awesome. My sister is getting married there in January and I am so excited to go back there now! :) It was my first time there on Saturday.
Email me if you would like to know anything else. Denise
Just posting my opinion and advice to all JT brides. We didn't feel so lucky after our reception. We felt a little scammed so just go over EVERYTHING in DETAIL with your manager.(We thought we did this, but oh well!) -Make sure your bars are out and working once your guests are escorted into your reception room(Our bars didn't serve until WE were introduced!!) -Make sure your 'top shelf liquor' is put where your guests can see it and not under the bar so they don't know to ask for it. -Make sure your guests are not charged $ for xtra liquor(we just learned that a guest asked for a shot and the bartender charged him for it!!) -Make sure your DJ is aware of what time your reception is over at(we didn't get to hear our last sone b/c we were practically rushed out of JT @12:30 on the dot!) -Make sure to meet w/your table's waiter before hand(my DH and I could hardly get a drink all night!) -Make sure your guests see your gift mailbox/birdcage or whatever you have so cards don't just 'disappear on their own!'
Anyway, I'm not trying to freak any JT brides out, all I'm doing is making you aware of these things to prevent them from happening to you like they did to us. Just plan ahead and it should be fine! Good luck!
