can you let me know if they have a VH and if it is awesome TIA

Definitely VH hour!! Is it a day or night wedding? I hope it's in the Penthouse Room :)

1)Can you let me know about the table set up...particularly those closest to the DJ area. Would you say that area was an obnoxious place to sit people or is the sound set up in a way that it's not overbearing...of course it'll be in your opinion..but I haven't been to a wedding at JT in about 5 years so I have no reference :)
2) Did you notice the other party going on (if there is one?) other than the mixing of the restrooms?

Yes!!!! I have been wondering where the VH is going to be!!! I was thinking that maybe it depends on if the other rooms are booked because I know someone that had the VH in the same room, and another one who had it in a different room. We are in the Penthouse!

I would love to hear anything you have to say about it!

Hi ladies! My FH and I are going to a wedding on Sunday at Jericho Terrace. I wanted to know if anyone wanted me to look out for anything for them, to help them with more info about JT or even ideas. Let me know and I'll make sure my eyes and ears are open for all those details.

If the bride and groom chose JT's menu for the table as oppose to making their own, can you save it and post it?? Thanks

Ok so I will pay attention to where the VH is being held, menus, sound for people near the dj, and if I can hear other parties going on at the same time!

Its a night wedding, cocktail hour starts at 6:30. I'm hoping I can last until the VH! I have work the next morning. If I do leave before VH, I will ask my MOH the next day where the VH was.

I will have my camera with me, so I will take pictures! If you girls have anything else you want me to pay attention to, let me know!

You're welcome! haha I will try my best. Like I said, if I miss it, my MOH will be there as well as one of my other friends. So maybe I could get them to take a picture if they are still there at the VH.

Ok Ladies, we went to JT for the wedding and we had a really great time! The food was delicious!

FH and I don't like music really loud because then you can't hear each other talk. Plus, of course we were seated near the speakers. It was loud but I don't think it was as loud as when we went to my MOHs wedding and we were by the speakers. But of course my ears are still ringing! As for, being able to hear the music from the other wedding, you didn't at all! I mean our music was loud but during meals it wasn't too loud and you still didn't hear the other wedding going on. This wedding was in the ballroom(I think thats what it was called).

The cocktail hour was good. We got there a little late but there was still enough food for us. The menus they used were the standard menus. I took pictures with my iphone because my luck, my battery died on my camera! They skipped the VH! We got a slice of cake, cannoli shell filled with vanilla and chocolate ice cream and a half chocolate dipped tangerine. They had a cordial bar during dessert time.

This is all I can think of right now but if I think of more, I'll post it after work. (Yes, I have work this morning! I didn't take off like my FH did!) Also, I will post pictures later but like I said my camera died so I don't have many! I hope this helped and sorry it was so long!

Thanks so much for responding so quickly. Sorry, your ears are ringing :( but now I definitely need to move some tables around to avoid potential sitting too close to the DJ issues. I'm also going to speak to my DJ and DOC and see what they say/suggest.

I had the same concern but I am almost positive this is the only way it's done. I went to a wedding there and they had the desserts on the dance floor and there was no dancing during the VH. I am pretty sure I asked my BM about this too when we first booked and he said there was just no other room for them to do it in.

You are quite welcome! I wanted to be as helpful as I could be to future brides of JT! The food was delicious!!

Awwww that stinks. Maybe there's a way they can do it where it takes up half the dance floor? I will have to ask next time I'm there!
