Does anyone else think that the woman who answers the phone at Jericho Terrace is the rudest person in the world?? Every time I call there it's the same woman (must be their receptionist) and she's downright nasty. Never asks if I want to leave a message or anything...She basically just hung up on me...
It's so shocking to me b/c everyone else is so nice...

What time of the day do you call there because I think they have different people answering the phone on the weekends, and maybe even at night. My sister got married there and she did NOT like the person that answered the phone there during the day during the week. She said she was so nasty!

I must not have gotten the same person, because I always called in the evening, between 6 and 9pm. So it must be the daytime person who is nasty.

I didn't have a problem when I would call...but this is a complaint I have read here before. It suck s because they're awesome and if one person is making brides not book, they need to change that.

I think it must be the daytime person...I usually call when I'm at work, and I don't think I've ever called on a weekend.
She was even rude when I called to make an appointment to look at JT...um...I'm a potential customer so you probably don't want to rub me the wrong way. Luckily, I still went in to look and liked the person I met with.
They're always talking about how much effort they put into training their staff...I think the receptionist missed the training...

I have had a very similar experience. I tell her who I want to talk to and she always asks, 'are you booked here?'. Even if I say no, what is she going to do? Sheesh! Hehehe.

Yes and I have gotten her in trouble...I know EXACTLY who you are referring to.
I had called there about 2 months prior to my wedding because I was in need of more direction cards. This NASTY woman answered the phone and when I asked if she can kindly send me direction cards she rudley asked, 'well how many do you need?' I said 150...she began to laugh and said, 'you are having 300 guests??' I said yes therefore I need 150 so can you please send me 150 direction cards? She said, rudley said...I just don't understand why you need so many...and she was going on and on and on until I asked for a manager because I was fed up with her at that point. She said no one was avaiable but would mail them out and just hung up. I never got them so I called 2 weeks later and complained to Mike Closs because I refuse to be treated that way especially if I spent tons of cash to have my affair there.
What gets me is she continues to talk to people this way which makes me think Mike never even spoke to her as he promised he would

Re: Jericho Terrace brides...
I talked to Robert Stevenson about her once in the past.
I had called to ask if I could schedule a time for my sisters to go see the rooms we booked b/c they didn't get to come with us the first time. She said, 'I don't understand why they need to see the rooms, you're already booked,' and proceeded to tell me that I couldn't come in at any point during the 3 day timeframe I gave her b/c there were functions going on. Yeah, I'm sure you had functions going on 24 hours a day. I asked to speak with a manager, and she told me to call back because no one was in.
I sent him an e-mail and asked for him to call me directly because I didn't want to have to speak with their rude receptionist again. When he called me back (very promptly I might add) he acted like this was the first time he's ever heard anything negative about the receptionist. I explained how rude she was and he apologized profusely, but I don't know if anything ever came of it.
I'm honestly so glad others have had the same experience (even though it stinks that others were treated poorly too) because I thought I was going crazy.

Maybe she's family or something? Why would they continue to let her be so rude? Or not just fire her after so many complaints?
