what kind of centerpieces are you going with? we are in the dome room and don't know if we will need high. Also we are planning the wedding from texas so we are not going to be able to try the cake... did you try it? it is good or should we get a different one?

centerpieces depends on your preferences, your budget and taste. you can do all high, all low or mixed..... hard to answer that one.
For the cake .........you dont plan on making a visit @ all to NY until 9/4/11?????????? im sure many brides who planned wedding long distance took a few chances like this on their wedding due to travels costs etc but i think the cake issue is on you as well.. whats good to me may not be good to you........ If cake means alot to you, I would make an effort and try to arrange a cake tasting to discover for yourself the taste of the cake. Get a different cake from Texas? Im soo confused ... you would still have to come to NY to pick a different cake with a baker..and your question of taste will still remain...

I'm in the same room and we are doing 10 low and 10 high. My florist is Distinctive Floral-Designs. They are great. and they are a vendor that work with JT. The cake is a different story. Every brides from 2010 that got married in JT love their cake... I have not try the cake...

I'm a JT Dome room bride too! My wedding is a about a month after yours. The ceilings are kinda high, so I am thinking of high centerpieces, but they are so $$$. So I am still undecided with that. I haven't tried the cake.. or any of their food for that matter. Do you mind fm'ing me your minimum and pp? I would totally understand if you do not want to. It's just that I think I am overpaying. I keep hearing everyone else paying so much less than me =( .
Yay for JT brides! The Dome is what made us fall in love!
