Jericho Terrace Brides.. I have a question

hey there,

I wanted to know what are you planning to tip your Maitre D? this is based on good performance/service?

and for the past JT brides.. how much did you endup tipping the Maitre D.. ?

please FM me if you feel more comfortable...

we went to pick out our menu last night and they gave us a recommendation for Average tipping... I thnk I might quit my day job and become a Maitre D.. if that's average tipping!

I'm not a JT bride, but my hall recommended $3-5 per person tip to the maitre'd... so if you have 100 guests, $300-500.

im not a JT bride but honestly 1k is the average for manahtten weddings i have heard.
And for LI weddings it is about $4 a person and also alot of it depends on your own personal assessment on how helpful you thought they were.

We hired a DOC, so that means the Maitre D will serve no big purpose for us on our day. Lets just say there is NO WAY we are tippinag anyone $1K!!! That is insane, all tipping decisions will be made by FH and we are def on the same page when it comes to tipping.

same here, i had a DOC so i my maitre'd and bridal attendant didnt do as much as they usually would...in fact, i would say that mine were pretty much useless! at one point, i couldnt even find my MD, my DOC had to search for him! i had about 130 and i tipped my MD $300...no way in hell would DH ever tip someone $1k!!!!!
