well if you use 4 or more of their vendors you get the sushi station for free.

I haven't gone to see her...i know she can recommend where to get invitations and where to get certain things So if you need that info then go talk to her

yeah just ask them for that instead...its less work and cheaper for them actually...i got the chocolate fountain thrown in

Actually, I wanted to substitue the chocolate fountain for the sushi too (FH and I don't eat sushi) but when I asked they said that a different vendor provides it so they could not do it for me. Please let me know what they tell you if you ask.

I had Fran as my DOC.. and she was the absolute best!!!!!!! I LOVE HER!!!!!!!!

I felt like I had a full event planner.. she definitely gives you more services than just a DOC. And she is super affordable.

She calls all of your vendors a week or two before the wedding to confirm so you don't have to do it. She gathers all of your planning info and sees to it that your requests were excuted. She makes sure that you are on time. which is a huge plus for me as I am always late! she recommends vendors if you are having trouble finding the right vendor. she did that for my hair person. She makes sure that you're make-up is on all night. creates a timeline for you. About once or every 2 weeks she checks in with you via e-mail or a phone call to see how you're doing with your planning and to see if you need any help. the list goes on and on...

When we arrived at JT to take pictures.. she asked me what wrong.. I said I'm just a bit hungry.. that is all I had to say! within 2mins flat she had JT whip up a platter of food and in btwn picture taking she was hand feeding and my husband!!!! fm me for more details! if you speak to her again.. tell mike and christina says HI!!!!

Oh no.... I am using 5 of their vendors so far and will probably use whoever they recommend for invitations. Hmmm. We shall see. I can't believe what they charge for the chocolate fountain. Does anybody know if when they say they are including the chair covers, does that go for the ceremony room as well. I really hope so.....

oh so youll def get the sushi thing...hmmmm well i know there used to be someone else there as the coordinator not too long ago and she used to recommend expensive vendors, dont know how this one is.

As coordinator for JT all she does, as far as I can see, is go over the in-house vendors. since you already booked your vendors, honestly there is not much more she will talk about with you- I guess I could be wrong but just from my experience thats mostly it. She is definitely nice to meet with and professional but I hope you are planning more than that to your trip to NY!!!

Thank you for the clarification. I really wasn't sure. I used all of their vendors already. I have Starlight Express, Patken, Flowers by Brian, Royalty Limos, and a trial with a Soft Touch by Maria. I also ordered tuxes from Foresto's. I just thought using their vendors would be easier, plus they all seem to be really good. Can anybody share their experiences with any of those vendors?

I have only heard good things about their vendors. they would not recommend anyone bad, I am sure. I think some of the prices are kind of high but not much. Its definitely easier and safer to go that route. What I have also done is look at other reception halls' recommendations- knowing they are also good but some have lower prices. We have not booked with anyone yet. I am curious who we end up with! Time will tell!
I met with flowers by brian and royalty limos tonight at the showcase and really enjoyed talking with both of them. hmm I also think i met with soft touch- very sweet ladies-made me feel pretty : ) I am probably going to consider them.

Yes, I met with her already, I agree with the post I quote, She only give you adviese for some verndor or if you need some recommandation for any rendor, that's all, If you want her to be your DOC or wedding planner, there is a fee (she has her own busine - Dazzling Affairs)
If you want any free stuff throw-in your wedding, you need to talk to your BM. She can't do much for you.

I met with her 3 wks ago
She is very nice, all she does, is to give you advice for vendor or you are looking for any special vendor. If you want to hire her as your wedding planner or DOC, there is a fee for it, (She has her own business-Dazzling Affairs)
If you want some free stuff to throw in your wedding, you have to talk to your BM in JT. She can't do much about it.
So if you already booked most of your vendor (I did, b4 I saw her), she is not much help, but she is very nice, just talk to her if you have any question regarding any speical vendor.
