Jericho Terrace Guest Review!!
I went to a wedding last night at Jericho Terrace. All in all it was a great wedding!!
Jericho Terrace- Beautiful place!! Cocktail hour was very nice, the food was really good. The only complaint I have was that there were not enough forks to eat. Each station had a basket with forks in it, well at one point they were all empty and we had to walk all over looking. Finally they filled one of the stations baskets back up, so I got a fork.
The reception was in the dome room. I love that room. This was the second wedding I have been to in their. It is such a romantic atmosphere. Anyway, the service was great. Our waiter was very nice, introduced himself, even took it upon himself to pick up the disposable camera off the table and take everyone's pics, saying how the bride and groom would appreciate it. I thought that was really great. We constantly had someone coming over to the table to see if we needed a drink, which was great!! The menu had 7 choices for dinner, which was awesome. DH and I and mom had the Shrimp Oreganata, which was out of this world. My brother and mom's boyfriend had the filet mingon, which they said was great and there was not a piece of meat left on the plate!! We were all soo full from coctail hour and 1st and second course, that it was hard to eat dinner, but we all managed because it was soooo good!!
DH and I didn't stay for the cake, because I was really sick(so sick I stayed home from work today, my glands are swollen) But my mom said cake was really good!
DJ- Body Rock (I think) - It is one of JT's recommended vendors. They were really good, had eveyone up dancing, and the lights and fog they used were cool. Only gripe my picky mom and I had was that they took way too long a break at dinner time. People were finished eating and wanted to get up and move around and dance and they were not playing. And the music they put on during dinner was soo low, you could barely hear it. But once they got back after dinner, they rocked, eveyone was up dancing!!
Flowers- I am not sure who they used, I know it was a house vendor, I'll try to find out, but the flowers were absolutely gorgeous. They were high and very full centerpieces with like a peach rose, peach hydrangia, somw white flowers, and some blue. They were gorgeous!!
Photo- again, not sure, but I think they were a house vendor. The guy looked like he got a ton of great pics.
Another complaint- The Jericho Terrace really needs to designate a smoking area. When we got there, the entire front of the place was mobbed with smokers, blocking the doors. There were like two other weddings going on. So there were a lot of people out there.
So anyone getting married there, you might want to mention they designate an area. Seriously all night, the smoking area was right in front, blocking the doors and I felt bad for people that didn't smoke that were standing there either waiting for their car or trying to get inside!!
I guess thats all for now!! Any questions FM me!!![]()
